bio

I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Bowling Green State University and a Research Fellow at the BGSU Center for Regional Development. I received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from Wayne State University. I received a B.A. in Political Science, a B.A. in Sociology, and a minor in Economics from Bowling Green State University. Previously, I worked as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Shawnee State University, a Senior Lecturer in the Irvin D. Reid Honors College at Wayne State University, and as a researcher in the Center for Urban Studies at Wayne State University.

I am an Assistant professor of Political Science at Bowling Green State University, where I teach courses in Public Policy & Administration. I research regulatory policy, with a focus on the bureaucratic politics of financial regulation and the regulation of white-collar financial crime. I have applied research expertise in program evaluation and have written grants and technical reports in a variety of policy areas, including  including transportation, special education, housing, and economic development.
